"Sci Fi Short Stories: The Best of the Genre"
Science fiction is one of the most popular genres in literature, and there are countless great short stories within the genre. In this article, we’ll be taking a look at some of the best sci-fi short stories that have been written.
“The Time Machine” by H.G. Wells is another classic sci-fi story, and it tells of a scientist who invents a machine that can take him to the future. He travels to the year 802,701, where he finds that the world has been divided into two groups: the Eloi and the Morlocks.
“A Sound of Thunder” by Ray Bradbury is another classic sci-fi short story. The story is set in the future, where time travel is possible. A group of hunters go back in time to kill a dinosaur, but one of them accidentally steps on a butterfly, resulting in a future where the world is very different.
There are many other great sci-fi short stories out there, so this is by no means an exhaustive list. Some other notable stories include “The Andromeda Strain” by Michael Crichton, “Dune” by Frank Herbert, and “ Jurassic Park” by Michael Crichton.
